The announcement and the return of the IHeartRadio Music Festivals annual “Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star” talent search and its Daytime Village is set for September 23 and 24 in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Village across from the Luxor Hotel and Casino. The 2016 Daytime Village features live emerging talent and popular artists and has divulged its first two artists, Alessia Cara and Sam Hunt and will be announcing more soon.

For the fifth year in a row, emerging artists will be graced to perform on the same stage as established superstars at The “Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star” talent search at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival and select Macy’s events this fall.
IHeartRadio listeners and Macy’s shoppers may cast their votes for their favorite emerging new artists. Voters will also be entered for a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas to attend the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival. The top five finalists will air on iHeartRadio via Macy’s exclusive mstyleradio which is the retailer’s live in-store radio station and broadcasts at Macy’s mstylelab Junior’s and Young Men’s departments starting this May. mstyleradio offers new music, favorite hits and connects listeners with the latest fashion and pop culture.
The winner of the “Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising Star” will open at the two-night event. Last year’s celebrated festival featured superstars Kanye West, Sam Smith, Coldplay, Puff Daddy, Demi Lovato, David Guetta, Kenny Chesney, The Weeknd, Tove Lo, Lil Wayne, Fall Out Boy, Disclosure, Hozier, Jason Derulo, Duran Duran, Prince Royce, Diplo, Trey Songz, The Killers, Jennifer Lopez, Blake Shelton, Nick Jonas and more.
