Talented actress/writer Venessa Verdugo will be showcasing her new one woman show Hooligani. Based on true events that took place in the 1990’s, HOOLIGANI tells of a tumultuous time in world and local history.
The premise is a madam under indictment for sex trafficking makes her case before the jury. Though found guilty of the crimes of human trafficking and prostitution by the jury ( the audience), Russian Madame Tetyana Komisaruk has returned to make her case before they decide what her punishment will be.
Previews Saturday, June 12th, 12:45 pm at Hollywood Fringe. Regular performances are Friday, June 13, 5pm and Wednesday, June 25, 9pm.
