L.A.’S UNION STATION AND THE LA OPERA PRESENT THE EXPERIENTIAL POP-UP EVENT “A NIGHT IN THE SERAGLIO”
DTLA’s historic Union Station will be transformed into a Roaring Twenties jazz club when the LA Opera takes over the iconic Waiting Room for a free one-of-a kind experiential pop-up event, A Night in the Seraglio.
On Tuesday, January 17, from 6 – 8 p.m., Union Station will partner with the LA Opera to transport guests back in time for a sneak peek of Mozart’s Comedic Opera “The Abduction from the Seraglio.”
This one-night-only event is open to the public and will feature live jazz, 20’s era dancers, and acclaimed LA Opera singers performing pieces from the upcoming show. The extraordinary experience will deliver unparalleled performances in an unforgettable setting. In addition to its own emerging calendar of programing, events and activities, Union Station has become a gateway to the rebirth of downtown’s vibrant art scene and has emerged as a bridge to important cultural venues including the LA Opera.
