Listen to “I Can’t Sing With a Broken Heart:”
Head Up in the Clouds is another lilting ballad that captures the imagination of romantics in Hollywood and beyond. After all, if you don’t keep your head up in the clouds, where will it be, he asks.
His songs are similar in nature to Cat Stevens, blending the best of Stevens’ lyrics and melodies with Wilco’s honesty.
Check out the video for “Late in the Night,” a Father John Misty-like composition that gives a flash of The National.
