“Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow” held its launch party at the Avalon Hollywood concert venue in Los Angeles. The “Futurama” cast and creative team came together to celebrate and discuss the new game and treated everyone with a live table read of an entire classic episode of the animated sci-fi comedy series.
Attendees included John DiMaggio (Bender), Billy West (Fry, Dr. Zoidberg, Professor Farnsworth), and Phil LaMarr (Hermes).
The “Futurama” mobile game “Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow” is from developer Jam City and game studio TinyCo (in cooperation with FoxNext Games). The game download is free for IOS and Android and gives fans the opportunity to take control of the Planet Express crew and the ability to interact with a multitude of characters from the “Futurama” universe. Fans will be more than happy that Futurama: Worlds of Tomorrow remains aesthetically true to Futurama.

There will also be an animated short that features Stephen Hawking, George Takei, Bill Nye, and Neil DeGrasse Tyson as talking heads to promote the game.
