The Weinstein Company debuted a trailer for the Jon Watts directed horror film Clown. Watts is now set to direct the next Spider-Man movie. This trailer is based on a fake trailer that Watts had originally made back in 2012. The fake trailer included fake credits for producer Eli Roth. He saw the fake and decided he wanted to get involved, helping them make a feature version and here it is. the story is about a creepy clown costume that a father, desperate to make sure his sons party goes on without a hitch, puts on and is then transformed into a sinister child-devouring clown. Reminds me a bit of The Mask , but instead of a cartoon romantic, mischievous wild man, it’s a frightening child-eating clown. The cast includes Andy Powers, Laura Allen, Peter Stormare, Christian Distefano, Chuck Shamata, and Elizabeth Whitmere.
