Tony Award winner Daveed Diggs recently left the monumental smash Broadway production of Hamilton and his role as Marquis de Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson on July 15.
Digg’s may be taking a little time from Broadway but he is not taking any vacation time between projects. Looks like we’ll be seeing Daveed, Wednesday nights, on the acclaimed ABC sitcom Black-ish. He’ll be joining the cast for its third season as Rainbow Johnson’s (Tracee Ellis Ross) brother Johan. Black-ish also stars Anthony Anderson and Laurence Fishburne.
Diggs’ has some film projects coming up as well. He will be in the film Wonder, opposite Jacob Tremblay and Julia Roberts, and the Andy Samberg and Murray Miller HBO sports mockumentary Tour de Pharmacy.
