Real Houswives Step Out to Support PROJECT ANGEL’S ANNUAL GALA On Emmy Weekend

Lisa Rinna and her friends from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Kyle Richards and Camille Grammer) and Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita stepped out for Project Angel Food’s annual gala, The 2016 Angel Awards, Saturday, September 17, 2016, which included both a silent and live auction raised the incredible sum of $460,000.

Rinna accepted the Humanitarian Award from her husband, Harry Hamlin, as her two gorgeous daughters Delilah Belle and Amelia Gray beamed with pride from their front row seats.

13th District LA Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell received the Elizabeth Taylor Leadership Award from  NCIS  star Pauley Perrette for his many years of service as a volunteer food delivery driver in the early 90s and his contributions to helping Project Angel Food’s growth.

Attorney Joseph Mannis received the Volunteer of the Year Award from his friend Contemporary Artist Ed Ruscha.

For the 26th annual event, the Project Angel Food parking lot was magically transformed into a chic dining space where celebrities and guests experienced a unique evening of gourmet delights, under the stars.

Adding to the excitement were Rumer Willis (Dancing with the Stars), Tim Bagley (Teachers and Grace & Frankie), TV Personality Carson Kressley,  Robert Palmer Watkins (General Hospital),  Heroes’ James Kyson, Love Byte’s Jamie Kyson,  Cupcake Wars Hollis Wilder, Suzanne Tracht of Jar, Blogger Perez Hilton, Philanthropist Sydney Holland, Fashion Guy Lawrence Zarian, Model Gregory Zarian, Stylist Marcellus Reynolds, Designer Andrew Christian, Criminal Minds Angelica Celaya, Celia’s Jaimy Osoro, Vanessa Villela  El Senor de los Cielos, and  former Miss Panama Patricia DeLeon

Since its inception Project Angel Food has provided more than 10 million meals free of charge to men and women living with critical illness, and continues to prepare more than 10,000 meals a week, medically tailored to the needs of clients living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, kidney failure, congestive heart failure and diabetes.  Although the mission has expanded from its initial task of serving people living with HIV/AIDS to include all life-threatening illness, it remains true to the original concept — to feed and nourish the sick, by delivering healthy meals, with love throughout Los Angeles County.  Many clients are living well below the poverty line and Project Angel Food is a lifeline filling a vital need in all communities. The client base is comprised 40% Latino, 30% African-American, 21% Caucasian, 5% Asian and 4% other.
