Sony Crackle is premiering the all-new stop-motion animated original “SuperMansion: Summer Vacation Special,”, Thursday, August 16. In the upcoming summer special, the team heads to Hawaii where Titanium Rex (Bryan Cranston) runs into a vacationing former President Barack Obama (Jay Pharoah), Black Saturn (Tucker Gilmore) and Lex (Jillian Bell) teach Cooch (Heidi Gardner) how to swim, and American Ranger (Keegan-Michael Key) attempts to perform in a USO show while an evil threat brews under the sea.
I chuckled, I smirked, I laughed out loud. I raised my eyebrows at the wit and humor and enjoyed the animations with their most fitting voice over talents. I marveled at how lively and aesthetically pleasing the animations were. The 20 or so minutes kept my interest but what I deemed most from this experience was the limmerks and my mind replayed Supermansion in that fashion.
In Hawaii on a vacay,
Ran into Pres Barry who fights ninjay-kay,
Ol man Titanium Rex,
Sent Robobot to timeshare hell-ex,
After Drinking hawaiian bendovers the whole day day .
What a treat to perform with the united service organization,
To Honor our servicemen with timeless tap- zation,
Kinda hard to do with Rob the wang man,
So American Ranger asks permission to give him a bang bang,
But falls back after the invite to go to town on the wang wang.
Black Saturn, Lex and Cooch captured so smooth,
Shaka definitely brought his groove,
Flashbacks to swim,
,Mermanught kissed him,
And the magic idol fell in the hands of the evil whim.
Thanks to Robobot the unspoken hero,
Jet skis, ranger and pres-edence-eeros,
Saved the day from shark mans plan,
Hawaii’s got nothing with the supermansion,
And it ends with a shimmy and dance wang -sation.
Animation was flawless and interesting to see,
Voices for characters fit perfect-alee,
Great entertainment inspired my words,
Thoughts and ideas from the intelligent nerds,
Thanks for the laughs Stoopid Buddy Stoodios,
I give you all much love and coodios!
Bryan Cranston (“Breaking Bad”), Keegan-Michael Key (“Key & Peele”), Chris Pine (“Star Trek”), Jillian Bell (“22 Jump Street”), Heidi Gardner (“Saturday Night Live”), Tucker Gilmore (“Frozen”) and Zeb Wells (also writer) return as voice-acting stars. Additionally, newcomers Jay Pharoah (“White Famous”) will guest star as Barack Obama, and Masi Oka (“Heroes,” “Hawaii Five-0”) will play Toko.
“SuperMansion” is created by Zeb Wells and Matthew Senreich, who also act as executive producers under their production company Stoopid Buddy Stoodios alongside Seth Green, John Harvatine IV and Eric Towner. Bryan Cranston and James Degus also serve as executive producers under their production banner Moon Shot Entertainment. The special is directed by Alex Kamer, written by Tom Sheppard and Zeb Wells, and distributed by Sony Pictures Television Inc.
