Steel Panther has become a “must see” on the famed Sunset Strip with their parody of the “Glam Rock” metal bands of the 1980’s. A Steel Panther show may be shocking to some with their comedic and profane lyrics, but this band is keeping alive a metal genre that is making them as popular as the bands they pay tribute to.
Following a string of successful residencies at venues like the House of Blues Sunset, Steel Panther now has a weekly residency at the iconic Roxy Theatre. The Los Angeles, Ca, band is made up of Band Members MICHAEL STARR – Lead Vocals, SATCHEL – Lead Guitar, LEXXI FOXX – Bass Guitar and STIX ZADINIA – Drums.
At a Steel Panther show you can expect to hear more original songs than covers. The cover songs are usually used as a warm up for the audience and they continue the raucous show with their most popular original songs.
This bands mix of talented musicians and tongue-in-cheek stage show gives you a unique metal experience, where they will do near anything to entertain the crowd. with Satchel(Guitar) trying to start a conversation with Michael(singer) about anything, well, usually related to Sex or how he looks.
