Matt Warren Releases Hot Disco Solo Album ‘Music Is My Life’

In the old days of the house music — meaning in the mid-80s — there was a great song that caught fire in the clubs called “Bang The Box.” Not only was the song the toast of the town in Chicago but its wild beat spread like wildfire to Hollywood and clubs across the country.

It seemed that no matter whoever you asked they would tell you the same thing, that the hit song was a Matt Warren creation. So it’s with great joy that we get to hear this song and a bevy of other beauties meant for the disco mood.

Warren ventured out on his own to create a solo record, Music Is My Life, and there are some great new sounds on this record, besides an amazing remake of “Bang The Box.”

We’re especially fond of the video that Warren released with this new album, for the thumping “How Do I Love Thee.”
