Indie Stock Music Festival provides an opportunity for independent rock bands to perform and share the big stage on the same line-up with well-known bands to help get them in front of fans that share the same love of music as the big guns.
This past October was the first festival that was created to focus on the indie band that is just starting out performing together to those bands that have been playing for years. Held at the Pico Rivera Sports Arena, the new festival showed that it’s really all about the music.
Bands such as Lynch Mob and the legendary guitarist George Lynch, P.O.D (Payable Upon Death), Trapt, and Six Gun Sal were on the massive stage along with Hipnostic, Dirty Machine, Never Your Zero, Misamore, Lethal Injektion, Osairis, Gravity Layne, Angeles, The 95th, and Fifi Larue.
Fans rocked out to a collection of music genres, including Rock, Hard Rock, Nu Metal, Southern Rock, Rock Funk, Heavy Metal, Christian Nu Metal, and Alternative Rock Music.
Multi gold, Platinum recording artist and one of the biggest teen idols of all time Leif Garret was the MC for the event and show as well as rocked the festival with his artistic antics.
On the red carpet, bands posed and were interviewed by many media outlets who were on hand to cover the event making their appearance at the Indie Stock Music Festival one to remember.
There were vendors on hand who fed the crowd with food that was very typical yet wanted for a festival – from loaded pastrami sandwiches to street style tacos, homemade iced tea – there was something for everyone.
The Indie Stock Music Festival is definitely a music festival for all to look for in the years to come as well as bands to connect with for upcoming opportunities to play at – this win-win opportunity is going to be a game changer for both the music lover as well as the music artist.
