Harlan Ellison, ‘Twilight Zone’ and ‘Star Trek’ Writer, Dies at 84

Ellison died in his sleep, says friend of family.

Harlan Ellison,  science fiction writer best known for his work on “The Twilight Zone” and “Star Trek,” died on Thursday. Ellison was 84.

The news was released on Twitter by family friend Christine Valada.
