Chella, which ran from 5 to 10 p.m. gave local [opening] acts Lazuli Bones, and [also] Koka a chance to be heard surrounding “all the buzz,” in hopes they too [someday] will get to play the Coachella Music Festival – just like alt. pop/rock act Bratty who hails from Culiacán, Sinaloa [Mexico], Gen Z all female Sierreño [music] trio Conexión Divina, who recently signed with Sony Music Latin and dropped their debut album titled Tres Mundos, on Fri. – April 14, or the evening’s headliner also a Gen Z representing Regional Mexican [or as his music record label Warner Music Latin prefers to call it Música Mexicana] who was born in [the Coachella Valley] Palm Springs to be exact: Danny Lux.

“When the plane was about to land I got emotional and started to cry being I have always wanted to visit the states. Coming to states and playing at Coachella Music Festival and being here today is truly a dream and an honor,” eloquently explained singer/songwriter Jenny Juárez known artistically as Bratty, who got emotional as her flight was about to land in San Francisco, Ca. “Thank you for your love, support, and for all your patience since it took us quite a while to get going [here] due to a few technical difficulties.”

“We learned through Danny Lux’s Instagram that he would here today performing for free, so we decided to come early in case there’s a chance to possibly personally meet him,” explained City of Indio resident Pedro Acevedo, who came to the event with fellow sophomore classmates Daniel Manriquez, and Brian Cardoso. “Danny Lux is our favorite Regional Mexican singer/songwriter. We love all his songs and music, and everything about him, and [all three of us] eventually plan to follow in his [musical] footsteps.”

The Hollywood 360 “exclusively” spoke to Danny Lux a few hours before taking the stage who also related, “I love doing things like this, coming to play for free [here in Indio at Chella, also in the Coachella Valley] gives people who might not be able to come see me at Coachella [the festival], a chance to see me and have a good time with their family.”
