Los Angeles: COVID-19 Closures, Event Cancellations

As of Monday, March 16, 2020, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti issued an executive order requiring the closure of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues (including but not limited to movie theaters, live-music venues, and bowling alleys), and gyms. Restaurants and bars will be closed to dine-in service, and many are still offering take-out.

March, 12, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order , to cancel events with capacities of 250+. LA Mayor Eric Garcetti also issued a directive all non-essential community events 50+ participants be cancelled.

Dodger Stadium: Spring training suspended. Regular season will be delayed by at least two weeks.

Angel Stadium: Spring training suspended. Regular season will be delayed by at least two weeks.

Dignity Health Sports Park: LA Galaxy season suspended for 30 days. All non-soccer events suspended until further notice.

The Wallis: All Performances through March 31, 2020.

The Music Center (Ahmanson Theatre, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Mark Taper Forum and Walt Disney Concert Hall): All Performances through at least March 31, 2020.

California African American Museum: Events, tours, and program canceled, galleries open.

LACMA: All events canceled with 50+ people in attendance. Galleries remain open.

MOCA: Closed until further notice. All public programs and events have been cancelled.

Natural History Museum: First Friday’s

Natural History Museum, La Brea Tar Pits, William S Hart Museum: Closing March 14, 2020 until further notice. All scheduled events through April 10 will be cancelled or postponed.

Coachella + Stagecoach: Postponed. Coachella Weekend One now October 9 – 11, 2020. Coachella Weekend Two now October 16 – 18, 2020. Stagecoach now October 23 – 25, 2020.

Microsoft Theater: All Performances from March 13th-15th postponed.

Troubadour: All shows canceled until March 31, 2020.

Pasadena Conservatory of Music: All performances through April 5

Santa Barbara Bowl: All performances through March 31, 2020 to be rescheduled.

Dirtybird Birdhouse Festival: Postponed

UCB Theatre (Sunset + Franklin): Shows postponed until further notice.

Hollywood Improv: Some shows canceled, some still on. Please check with the Hollywood Improv if you have tickets to a show.

The Comedy Store: Main Room + Belly Room shows canceled until March 31, 2020. The Original Room is still open every night. We recommend checking with the venue for the most of-the-moment updates.

The Laugh Factory: Shows are still on, limited to 200 patrons.
