Christine Brenner launched the Brenner Foundation this past June, with a mission to provide economic support for veterans and to shine a spotlight on the devastating social issues that face homeless veterans. It is the mission of the Brenner Foundation to motivate, inspire and transform individuals, corporations and organizations by creating awareness to mobilize support to a national community of patriotic individuals for the benefit of our Veterans as well as the homeless.
This past September, the Brenner Foundation announced their partnership with Style Fashion Week aboard the USS Intrepid, during Style Fashion Week’s New York series. The unlikely pair came together, using Style Fashion Week’s immense platform and audience filled with industry professionals to heighten the Brenner campaign for veteran awareness. Each season, Style Fashion Week generates hundreds of millions of media impressions. During StyleFashion Week’s New York event series, the pair successfully raised awareness as thousands attended to listen Christine Brenner and Dale Godboldo from ProjectNow speak about Christine’s cause.
Christine is working to mobilize support around the issues that the homeless and veterans of the USA currently face. Christine, intimately aware of the issues facing veterans, created a “Care Bag Program” that provides a backpack filled with personal hygiene items and snacks for those living in homeless shelters. The program is being implemented in Denver Beacon Middle Schools, CO, to teach kindness by way of action and leadership and to open the conversation with children and community about caring for our Veterans and ending homelessness inside every community.
“We live in the greatest Country in the world, and we still have people who do not have a safe and warm place to sleep at night,” said Christine Brenner. “We understand that the solution is in the hands of our youth.”
