On September 12, 2017, Ultimate Jam Night at the Whiskey A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA, presented the “Ultimate Jam Night Presents: Ultimate Texas Jam” concert. The event was part of multi-city effort to raise money for Houston and the victims of Hurricane Harvey with shows taking place in Nashville and NYC. On August 25, the catastrophic Category 4 Hurricane Harvey, caused devastation, flooding and destruction across Houston. Among the musicians that took part in the Ultimate Jam Night , included: Don Dokken (DOKKEN), Phil Varone (SAIGON KICK, SKID ROW), John Moyer (DISTURBED), Sean McNabb (LYNCH MOB, QUIET RIOT, DOKKEN), Ira Black (I AM MORBID, WESTFIELD MASSACRE) and Monte Pittman (PRONG, MADONNA).
“Ultimate Jam Night” is a free weekly show currently in residence at Whisky A Go Go. The long-running show was founded by QUIET RIOT‘s Chuck Wright in 2015. The Ultimate Jam features a list of world -renowned musicians who get together to jam in an entirely unrehearsed setting. With a loyal following , the show has live music, performance art, comedy bits, walk-around characters, and community and charitable giving.
