Vertical Entertainment has released the official trailer for writer/director Charles Barker sci-fi action film called The Call Up. A group of online gamers are invited to try a new virtual reality video game. What they think is just a harmless video gamemay not be a game at all. The cast includes Max Deacon, Morfydd Clark, Ali Cook and Christopher Obi. I’m always a fan of anything VR , but I do have to say I’m not in love with the VR suits.
Vertical Entertainment will release Barker’s The Call Up in limited US theaters + on VOD starting June 24th this summer. It will release in the UK later this year.
