This Saturday night, Real Housewives’ of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley held an exclusive preview event for her new fashion line Beverly Beach by Dorit at the lavish Trunk Club In Culver City.
Dorit previewed her Spring/Summer 2018 collection to more than 200 guests including cast members Lisa Vanderpump, Ken Todd, Kyle Richards, Mauricio Umansky, Erika Jayne, Lisa Rinna, Camille Grammer and of course Dorit’s husband Paul “P.K” Kemsley, who were all present to support the fashion designers return to fashion after a 5-year hiatus while she had her two children.
The evening began with a red carpet from 7.00 – 8.00pm for celebrity arrivals for photos and interviews of all the stars who came out to support the fellow housewife and fashion designer. Guests enjoyed specialty Absolut Elyx cocktails at the luxurious Trunk Club in Culver City followed by an exclusive fashion show to preview the designers upcoming SS18 line, followed by an after-party. The cocktail hour had housewives and celebrities checking out the beautiful artwork and model photos of Dorit’s previous collections. Dorit’s husband, PK then got the attention of everyone in the room when he made a speech and there was a dramatic reveal of the catwalk, inviting guests to take their seats and get ready for the show. The Trunk Club venue was unrecognizable having been transformed into the exclusive and chic Beverly Beach, complete with a dramatic draped tunnel for guests to walk through to the cocktail area, real life-size Palm trees throughout and a 40-foot-long white runway. Guest were treated to Beverly Beach gift bags teasing what is sure to be one of Springs most anticipated new lines.
During the fashion show, models stunned in the upcoming colorful and vibrant styles created by Dorit. She announced to the seated audience that, “It’s been 5 years since my last collection…this is my return.” The audience who included the entire cast of RHOBH were captivated by the stunning fashion show and gave Dorit a standing ovation when she walked out. After the fashion show, Dorit thanked her husband, family, friends and praised all who she collaborated with.
