Jason Blum is the producer behind some of our favorite horror franchises, “Paranormal Activity,” “Sinister,” “Insidious” and “The Purge”.
Jason Blum’s company Blumhouse’s untitled horror movies, four of them, for Universal have be given release dates. The Universal dates are : Feb. 24, 2017; April 28, 2017; Jan. 5, 2018; and Oct. 19, 2018.
The first film that Blumhouse will take on will be Paramount and Bad Robot’s sci-fi movie “God Particle” on Feb. 24, 2017 . The October 19, 2018 release will be Warner Bros.’ new “Jungle Book: Origins” movie from director Andy Serkis.
This summer ,Universal is set to release “The Purge: Election Year”. Other upcoming films from Blumhouse will include:
