LOS ANGELES WOMEN’S THEATRE FESTIVAL PRESENTS A FREE WORKSHOP

THE ART OF CREATING THE ONE-PERSON SHOW ON MARCH 23

The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival has been presenting the finest female solo performers for twenty-five years, and as part of its Silver Anniversary activities, it is presenting a FREE workshop for women, men and non-binary solo performers, The Art of Creating the One-Person Show. Learn how to create YOUR solo performance vehicle, from a celebrated director-writer-performer, Jessica Lynn Johnson.

Jessica Lynn Johnson is a board member of the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival in addition to being the founder and CEO of her own company, Soaring Solo. LLC. She has performed her own 25-character one-person shows for over a decade. She directed 20 solo shows at the Whitefire Theatre’s SoloFest in 2018. She helmed 15 solo shows in the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival, earning Top of Fringe, Encore Producer Awards and other accolades.
