KCET Broadcasts 53rd Annual Wassail Concert at Chapman University

This year’s program will feature a magnificent selection of holiday season favorites and will be held for the first time in the acclaimed Musco Center for the arts. The new 1,044 set, world-class cener provides a state of-of-the-art experience with acoustics designed by world-renowned Yasuhisa Toota of Nagata Acoustic.

On Fri., Dec. 23 at  7 p.m. PT KCET will air the 53rd ANNUAL WASSAIL CONCERT AT CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY. This magnificent holiday tradition will feature performances by  the gifted Chapman University Choir and Women’s Choir along with spectacular music by The Chapman Orchestra. The performance is a collaboration between students and faculty. This year’s program will feature a magnificent selection of holiday season favorites and will be held for the first time in the acclaimed Musco Center for the Arts. The new 1,044-seat, world-class center provides a state-of-the-art experience with acoustics designed by world-renowned Yasuhisa Toyota of Nagata Acoustic.

In advance of the broadcast premiere of the 53rd ANNUAL WASSAIL CONCERT AT CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY, KCET will air a special encore of the 52nd ANNUAL WASSAL CONCERT AT CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY on Sun., Dec. 11 at 5 p.m. PT on KCET in Southern California. This
special will include holiday favorites and songs from around the world. Under the direction of Stephen Coker, Chelsea Dehn and Daniel Alfred Wachs, this campus tradition has been delighting audiences for over a half-century and features 150 student
singers and musicians.
