GAIL JHONSON (Keyboards) – Composer, arranger, producer, and musical director. “The First Lady of Smooth Jazz” is a distinction Gail has worked a lifetime to achieve. A staple in the jazz industry working with such notables as Norman Brown, Mindi Abair, Bobby Womack, Ray Parker Jr, Cindy Bradley, Peabo Bryson, Jeff Lorber, Patti Austin, Marion Meadows Paul Jackson Jr. and so many others! Leader of the all-female ensemble “Jazz in Pink”, featuring such artists as Karen Briggs, Althea Rene & Mariea Antoinette.
GREG MANNING (Keyboards) – Has current hit singles on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Charts. Has performed with Brian McKnight, Jonathan Butler, Mindi Abair, Gerald Albright, Dave Koz, Will Downing, Richard Elliot, Eric Marienthal, Chanté Moore, Kirk Whalum, Warren Hill and is a member of The L.A. Collective. In 2014, Greg was signed as the first artist on Maurice White’s new Kalimba label.
DARRYL WILLIAMS (Bass) – Darryl is in high demand performing all over the world with many of the top Smooth Jazz and R&B artists of today. Notable names include, Euge Groove, Kenny Lattimore, Ray Parker Jr., Elliot Yamin, Peter White, Gerald Albright, Michael Lington, Steve Cole, Jeff Kashiwa, Paul Brown, Richard Elliot, Chaka Khan, Jeff Golub, Mindi Abair, Jeff Lorber, Ronnie Foster, Bill Champlin, Brian Simpson, Jackiem Joyner and so many more. Darryl is a member of The L.A. Collective and is also one of the main stage bassists on the Dave Koz Cruises
KEVIN CHOKAN (Guitar) – Kevin has recorded with George Duke, George Howard, Howard Hewitt, Philip Bailey (Earth, Wind, & Fire), Stanley Clarke, Al Jarreau, Stephanie Mills, Irene Cara, to name a few. He has also toured extensively with Chaka Khan, George Duke, George Howard, Philip Bailey, Diana Ross, Freddie Jackson, Peabo Bryson, Howard Hewitt, Gerald Albright, Rick Braun, and Jeffrey Osborne. Toured worldwide with Diana Ross for 25 years as guitarist and Musical Director. Currently touring and recording with Jeffrey Osborne.
TONY MOORE (Drums) – Tony is one of L.A.’s most in demand recording and touring drummers. A decade plus of touring/recording with Gerald Albright. His constantly growing list of superstar credits include George Benson, The Jazz Crusaders, The Isley Brothers, Gladys Knight, Jonathan Butler, Randy Crawford, Tupac Shakur, Kenny Latimore, Chanté Moore, Howard Hewlett, Bobby Caldwell, Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, Boney James, Jeff Golub, Euge Groove, Hubert Laws, Keiko Matsui, Randy Brecker, Diane Schuur … the list goes on and on. Tony is also a member of The L.A. Collective.
MITCH MANKER (Trumpet, Brass) – Mitch is a versatile master of numerous brass instruments and is in very high demand in studio, recording and performance in the L.A. vicinity. In 1980 and 1981 Mitch performed on two worldwide tours with the legendary Ray Charles … he can be heard on four of Ray Charles’ albums. He also has toured with Hootie and the Blowfish, The Januaries, Fattburger, A.J. Croce and Jim Keltner. He can be heard on soundtracks to feature films such as The Cable Guy and Any Given Sunday. He is a current member of 3rd Force and performs regularly around various L.A. Jazz venues with well-known artists. Mitch is a Clinician Level Endorser for Martin Trumpets.
STEVE NIEVES (Sax/Flute) – Steve is an extremely talented and versatile multi-instrumental musician with an extensive career to date. He is equally skilled on soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, flute and percussion in addition to being an incredible vocalist. Steve has toured with individuals such as Loggins and Messina, Olivia Newton-John, Lao Tizer and Jango to name a few.
