Nico Raineau was a recent Top Ten Filmmaker Finalist on the fourth season of the HBO series Project Greenlight, not surprisingly his films have screened at over fifty festivals. Brix and The Bitch, Raineau’s first dramatic film, stars Dre Swan (iCarly,), Alex Marshall-Brown (The Hateful Eight) and David Carey Foster (Dexter). This exciting film just won Best Action Film at Hollyshorts Film Festival!

Nico Raineau is an award winning filmmaker whose career in film began as the director’s assistant to Ben Affleck on the Warner Bros. film The Town. He then transitioned to creative development for companies such as Jinks/Cohen and Team Downey. An outspoken Feminist Filmmaker, Raineau was also a finalist for the 2016 #TheFWord video contest and was a panellist at the Phoenix Film Festival. He is also the owner of Amfran Entertainment, a production company based in Los Angeles California.
This exciting film has been selected for numerous film festivals, including the Portland Film Festival, New Filmmakers L.A. Summer Series, Catalina Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, Las Vegas Film Festival and LA Femme International Film Festival. It has also won multiple awards including Best of Festival and 6 other awards atIdyllwild International Film Festival, Best Short Film at Atlanta Independent Film Festival, Best LGBT Film at Berlin Independent Film Festival, Best Action Short Film at Atlanta Underground Festival, The Gold Award at Spotlight Film Awards and more.
