Artist Gina Herrera at MOAH

m/other at MOAH ( Museum of Art & History) in downtown Lancaster, CA, explores motherhood outside the traditional, with themes of queer, indigenous, and spiritual motherhood.

As part of the exhibit, Artist Gina Herrera’s Reforged Identities reflects spiritual and aesthetic rituals that pay homage to Mother Earth, utilizing repurposed and salvaged materials.

It was a pleasure to meet the talented artist Gina Herrera – her beautiful sculpture The Mighty Grasshopper, comprised of found objects, plasma-cut and powder coated metal, and ceramic molds taken from her own body is featured at MOAH’s m/other exhibit which runs through August 31, 2025.
