Alisan Porter was crowned champion of NBC’s Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice” tonight (Tuesday, May 24), live from Universal City, Calif., earning the grand prize of a recording contract and being named as the Voice for season 10.
Porter, from Team Christina, competed for viewers’ votes in the finals against runners-up Adam Wakefield from Team Blake, Laith Al-Saadi from Team Adam, and Hannah Huston from Team Pharrell.
This season’s coaches were Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera and Pharrell Williams. Carson Daly serves as host.
