I attended opening night of the new Bonnie & Clyde The Musical and it was fantastic!
The stage adaptation is a wild ride… an emotional roller coaster… with top notch singing and performances by all. Bad boy Clyde is wonderfully played by Russell Muzyczka. He lures good girl Bonnie superbly portrayed by Ellie Smith into his world of crime and her chemical attraction to him leads to her demise. Worth catching in its final week. It plays till May 18th.
The score combines Rockabilly, Blues and Gospel Music and the play is well directed by J. Scott Lapp. There were over 4000 video applicants for these roles and the best of the best were chosen!
