Live Music, Free Cocoa Bar, Christmas Craft Corner, Candy Cane Lane and Santa Selfies Highlight Holiday Happenings
‘Tis the season for the swinging sounds of the Hi-Fi Honeydrops, slated to rock Union Station’s 3rd Cocoa Concert of the season on Friday, Dec. 13, at 6:30 p.m. on the South Patio, in collaboration with Metro Art Presents.
The undulating pure swing beats of the Hi-Fi Honeydrops is driven by a talented quintet featuring three guitars, a bass fiddle and a spirited clarinet that delivers a unique spin on the Great American Songbook. This inventive band has created a fresh sound that is truly unique in the Los Angeles music scene with arrangements that often combine multiple melodies and electric guitar harmonies with woodwinds and vocals, allowing guests to dance their way into the holiday season.
The festive, family-friendly holiday celebration will transform the station into a winter wonderland featuring Cocoa Bars with Elftenders, Santa selfies and our very own Candy Cane Lane where a custom neon photo-op will make your season bright alongside a soaring Candy Cane Queen and holiday-themed arts, crafts, interactive games and entertainment.
Don’t miss the marshmallow-eating contest where winners will celebrate their sweet victory with prizes and sticky fingers.
Jingle all the way to the final Cocoa Concert on Friday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 p.m. with a special guest performance.
