Sundance Ignite will participate in Oaxaca FilmFest´s Young Industry and New Industry programs.
The International Film Festival Oaxaca FilmFest announced today that Sundance Institute, through its Sundance Ignite Program for 18-to-24-year-old filmmakers, will host three panels during Oaxaca FilmFest this upcoming October 2016. The panels will be showcased at Oaxaca FilmFest’s Young Industry and New Industry programs.

This portion of the 8-day Festival is especially popular among film students and filmmakers and has an ideology in direct alignment with that of the Sundance Ignite program, with the goal to provide film students and filmmakers with unique opportunities to develop and showcase their creativity.
Sundance Ignite identifies and supports new voices and talent from the next generation of filmmakers and fosters fresh audiences for independent storytelling. The program offers individuals ages 18-24 the Ignite Ticket Package, an exclusive chance to see the newest films at the Sundance Film Festival and the Ignite Fellows Program, a competitive and intensive experience designed to provide artistic and professional development, mentorship, and industry exposure.
Some of these resources will now be presented to attendees of Oaxaca FilmFest in its academic programs: Young Industry and New Industry.
Sundance Ignite panels will be hosted at Oaxaca FilmFest academic programs during Oaxaca FilmFest 7.
