The new single “IT’S OVER” by musician ANML (a.k.a. Lila Rose) breaks new ground by combining the artists’ hauntingly recognizable voice, and innovative arrangements while tackling an empowering feminist story.
The interview-style video which goes live Tuesday, October 3rd, features clips of women from diverse communities, revealing their strength and truth in the aftermath of a break-up. The video subtitles the intimate stories of relationships, cutting across the socio-political spectrum, reminding us of the power of change and giving us hope for the future. Translated into more than 10 languages, including Arabic, Japanese, Hebrew, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, French, Polish, and English, the video is more accessible – encouraging women everywhere to find the strength to say, “it’s over.”
Glamorous and artful, provocative and earnest, the singer/songwriter/producer takes on issues of love, activism and triumph in the upcoming EP, RELEASE! Her music is powerful, enticing, and never fails to pack a fully loaded punch of avant-pop; a genre all her own.
