2017 Emmy Winners

The 69th Emmy awards turned out to be a big night for streaming services.Platforms like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu earned over 120 Emmy nominations this year, with Netflix’s Stranger Things  being one of the most-nominated shows of the year.

Although Stranger Things and Westworld garnered several nominations both shows were shut out when it came to Emmy wins.  Netflix was a winner with The Crown and Master of None  Hulu was a big winner with The Handmaid’s Tale winning several awards including Outstanding Drama Series. HBO’s Big Little Lies, was also a big winner with a total of five awards, including Outstanding Limited Series.
